Moving Your Body is Non Optional!

If you do not use it, you will lose it.  This principle applies to almost every system within the human body, but especially for your muscles, bones and joints.

If you are not “loading” your muscles, joints and bones on a daily basis (i.e. moving, lifting, pulling, pressing heavy stuff), your body will conserve energy by converting muscle to fat, allowing your bones to get brittle (osteoporosis) and your joints will get rusty (arthritis).

Even the best chiropractor or massage therapist will eventually have trouble keeping up with your lack of exercise after a while.  This is because you’ll progressively have worsening posture, weaker muscles and rustier joints.  By the 4th decade of life, you have to work even harder at exercising to just maintain your strength.
