Week 8

Week 8: Cross Training

Beginner: 1 min walk, 4 min run, complete 3.25 miles 2x in addition to our group run, also cross-train for at least 30 minutes 1x.

Advanced: Maintain moderate paced run for 45 minutes (approx 10k pace), try a cross-training class/activity that you have not tried within the last 6 months!

Cross Training Ideas:

  • Elliptical
  • Cycling (stationary or outside)
  • Rowing Machine
  • Swimming
  • Yoga
  • Pilates
  • Spinning
  • Cross Fit or Bootcamp Class
  • Dancing
  • Zumba
  • Playing with the kids in the yard or playground
